A group of eight highly respected, successful business people
from Paulding and Cobb Counties held its first organizational
meeting on August 31, 2004. With plans of being headquartered
in Paulding County, they all agreed on the need of a locally
owned community bank in Paulding County with its first branch
office in West Cobb.
The organizing directors, Jack Bickford, Charles Brock,
Angel Byrd, Tom Cable, Genevieve Cole, Kim Curl, Howard Maxwell,
and Bruce Smith, strongly believed the community's traditional
values could best be reflected by the name selection of "Georgia
Heritage Bank".
The very experienced management team and staff of Georgia
Heritage Bank believe in personal service and surpassing the
client's expectations while providing innovative services
and products.
Georgia Heritage, the oldest locally owned community bank
in Paulding County, opened its permanent main office in June
of 2007 in Dallas, Georgia. The first branch then opened in June
of 2006 in West Cobb, and the third location was opened in September
of 2007 in Cartersville. While supplying those traditional
banking functions, Georgia Heritage Bank will utilize the
